Pattern Release: Green Lake

Pattern Release: Green Lake

I'm so happy to announce it's finally launch day of my first pattern release ever! Introducing the Green Lake quilt pattern by Julia Wachs Designs.

This modern quilt pattern features a medallion design that uses Half Square Triangles with simple piecing techniques. It's a great pattern to show off your favorite large scale prints.

Here is my large throw size that I made to be included in Art Gallery Fabrics Luna and Laurel lookbook.

I fell in love with the Luna and Laurel collection from the moment I saw the preview photos, and was ecstatic that Art Gallery Fabrics decided to feature my quilt made with the fabrics. Their fabrics are so easy to work with and simply gorgeous.

My pattern wouldn't be what it is today without the extremely valuable feedback from my pattern testers. They created beautiful versions of this quilt, and I'm so excited to share them with you!

A small throw size gorgeous in solids by Lindsey of @peartreedesignsco. I am in LOVE with the Honey color she chose as one of her main colors.

A large throw size set off beautifully by the snow, with amazing fabric choices by Missy of @BeStillBlessings.

A baby size with such bright and happy fabric by Summer of @squats_and_runningstitches.

A small throw done in gorgeous nature inspired solids by Stacy of @stacykenny. How lovely is that barn!

I appreciate my testers so much. Make sure you check out their profile and give them a follow. They make such beautiful things!

I hope this post has given you the needed inspiration to make your own Green Lake Quilt :) I have free coloring sheets available here, and the pattern can be found here!

Thank you all for your support! And thank you for reading!

Hi J Dye,
I just sent you an email!

Julia Wachs

We would like to hold a class using your Green Lake pattern. Can you offer a discount if we want to purchase 13 downloads?

J Dye

Hi Genevieve,
I haven’t done the math other than what’s written in my pattern, but it absolutely could be enlarged, either by adding more blocks or making the current blocks bigger.

Julia Wachs

Wondering if your pattern can be enlarged for a king sized quilt top. Thanks!
